The Speaker: Dr. Zheng YAN
Dr. Zheng YAN joined Nokia Research Center in July, 2000, located at Helsinki, Finland. Prior to this, she worked in Singapore as a research scholar at the Institute for Information Research for secure and fair e-payment research and a software engineer at an IBM partner company for developing an IBM global electronic ordering system. She participated in a number of research projects related to pervasive social networking, mobile commerce, services and applications, trusted computing and communications, and software platform at NRC. Her research focuses on the issues related to trust and security. Her research interests also covers: Trust modeling and management; Trust in HCI; Trusted computing and communications; Security, dependability and trustworthiness of software platform; Reputation and recommender systems; Distributed systems (P2P, Adhoc, Grid, Pervasive computing); E-commerce; Information security, multimedia security; Social trust; Social networking
Dr. Zheng YAN is a member of the IEEE and worked as program committee member of a number of important conferences and workshops.
