I joined the faculty of Department of
Electronics and Information Engineering at Huazhong University of
Science and Technology in 2008 as an associate professor, after
receiving Ph.D. in Computer Science from Department of Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science, Case Western Reserve University.
Now my research focuses on computer networking, especially
algorithms and architectures for high-performance networks and
wireless networks. I lead the Networked and Communication Systems
Research Group (NEST),
which is part of the Media and Communication Lab (MC Lab), Huazhong
University of Science and Technology. Here are some of my ongoing
projects:
Ambient intelligence in sensor
networks.
Mobile and
wireless applications.
Highly available and reliable
networked systems.
Opening Positions: Please read this
before you send me an email. (1) I am currently recruiting self-motivated
and dedicated Ph.D./M.S. students with solid background in mathematics,
wireless communications and networking, etc. Please feel free to contact
me if you are interested. (2) I plan to host a selected number of PostDocs with strong research background.
